A lovely note of freshly cut Red Delicious apple on the nose immediately promises a wine of substance. More air allows notions of shortcrust pastry to peep through. The palate delivers what the nose promises, but in a beautifully sleek and concentrated fashion with a slender but textured body, enhanced by fine freshness and subtle, silky mousse. This unusual rosé combines substance and sleekness, power and elegance. Lovely now but will evolve.
