Deep dark ruby colour, purple reflections. Fine, attractive dark berry confit on the nose, a hint of caramel, with cherry confit in the background, delicate nougat flavour. Good complexity, fine extract sweetness, integrated tannins, subtle plum nougat note, has length, mineral, balanced, well developed, a versatile food companion.
More about the tastingStill somewhat restrained, delicately reductive, underlaid with blackberry jelly, hints of black fruit. Present, structured tannins, red berry fruit, fresh acidity, mineral, overall slowed down in this early phase, does not show itself.
