Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, faint watery edge. On the nose somewhat restrained roasted aromas, delicate roasted plum, inviting berry confit, orange zest, fine tobacco nuances, smoky, cedary savouriness. On the palate dark berry fruit, cherry, vivid tannins, which are well integrated, but at the same time still demanding, at the moment somewhat closed, sweet roasted aromas, pleasant freshness. Future potential, great, complex wine.
More about the tastingDark ruby in colour with an opaque core, purple reflections, and delicately watery rim. Somewhat restrained roasted aromas on the nose, subtle roasted plum, inviting berry confit, orange zest, fine tobacco nuances, smoky, cedar spice. Dark berry and cherry fruit on the palate, with pronounced, well-integrated, yet still demanding tannins. Somewhat closed at the moment, with sweet roasted notes, the freshness revealing the good terroir, this certainly has ageing potential, a great, multi-layered wine. (Tasted 2008).
More about the tastingBright ruby garnet, good depth of color, opaque core, violet reflections, very restrained on the nose, concentrated dark berry confit, delicate nougat and cocoa. Ripe fruit on the palate, rather sweet and opulent, good length, cherries on the finish. Quite modern in style, clearly characterized by Cabernet Sauvignon.
