Tasting Notes
Smoky notes fulfil the promise of the name "Fumé", along with a scent of gooseberry, kiwi and nettle. In the mouth, the wine has a taut structure, acidity and substance that give it a firm backbone, fruit and suppleness round it off well despite the restrained residual sweetness.
More about the tastingOak savouriness and "fumé" accompany fruit aromas of ripe melon and gooseberry, savoury and rich fragrance. Shows the lively acidity of the vintage in a compact contour, but also good substance and density. Apricot on the palate, some caramel, ripe pear and salted lemon. A competent demonstration of the location and vintage.
