The rosé »Fumé« Rosé trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Cisterzienser Weingut has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Raspberry coloured in the glass. Fumé on the nose, roasted notes such as roasted hazelnut and coffee beans, followed by red bell pepper, red and dark berry fruit, redcurrant, cassis, Maraschino cherry, plum. Powerful and very juicy on the palate, clear fruit, well-integrated acidity, sweetness in contrast with lots of savouriness, full-bodied, more of a food companion.
