Dark ruby garnet, an opaque core, purple reflections, a subtle brightening on the rim. Black forest berries, a touch of blackberries, nuances of juniper, some nougat, figs, candied oranges, subtle oak. Powerful, substantial, ripe plums, intense, ripe tannins, a chocolatey core, mineral and long lasting, some leather on the finish, a savoury food companion, with a strong ageing potential.
