The red wine Aleos by Telmo Rodríguez Rioja DOCa, vintage 2012 from the winery Compañia de Vinos Telmo Rodriguez, S.L. has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Graciano, Grenache from the region Rioja Alavesa in Spain.
Some new wood, cinnamon and clove, plum confit, cherry spirit. On the palate very dense and at the same time mellow, sandy tannins, high phenolic ripeness, restrained but balanced by the acidity. A wine that does not come across as heavy with power and fullness because it creates the impression of great elegance due to the juiciness and fruit, and especially because of its intense tactile minerality.
