The red wine Barolo DOCG Ginestra Vigna Sori Ginestra, vintage 2017 from the winery Conterno Fantino has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Aroma of pomegranate on the nose, fine herbal savouriness, combined with fresh leather. Juicy at the start, spreads out with lots of cherry fruit, opens up with dense tannins as it progresses, firm and gripping, still somewhat brittle at the back.
