The red wine Barolo DOCG Arione, vintage 2021 from the winery Conterno Giacomo has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 100 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Elegant dark ruby red colour. Medium expression on the nose, subtle berryish fruit, stony notes and some savouriness. Very deep and structured on the palate, profound, with wonderful, tight-knit tannins, constantly reappears in the finish, impressive progression, firm drive in the finale. Balanced in perfect harmony, will be able to evolve for a long time yet is already easy to drink.
