The red wine Enrico VI Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Cordero di Montezemolo has been rated in 2012 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby-garnet in colour. A very intense nose with lots of ripe fruit, blackberry and wild raspberry - very inviting. Rich, ripe fruit continues at the beginning of the palate, which then unfolds with firm, dense tannins. It's very elegant and finely textured, with a very long finish. A delight!
