The red wine Gattera Barolo DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Cordero di Montezemolo has been rated in 2013 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby colour with garnet shimmer. Very finely characterised, fragrant nose, with notes of ripe red cherry, lots of rose petals, interwoven. Very supple and polished on the palate, lots of rich, ripe fruit, opens up with fine, very vivid tannins, beautiful texture, long finish, some tobacco.
