The red wine Barolo Enrico VI DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Cordero di Montezemolo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark shining ruby red. Opens on the nose with rich Amarena cherry, perceptible use of wood, light flint notes, buttered pastries with very ripe plum notes. Polished dark berry fruit on the palate with vivid tannin, powerful concentration and a juicy finish. Still very young, will benefit from further ageing to reach its potential.
