This wine shows how beneficial bottle ageing can be for complex wines based on Sémillon. Aromas of apricot, kumquat, beeswax, buttered toast and cream caramel on the nose. Also aniseed, turmeric, lemongrass and bay leaf. Dry on the palate, with a fine texture. The wine owes its length to its salty minerality, the tart, fruity flavour of salted lemon and ethereal citrus freshness.
