The red wine Alta Mora Feudo di Mezzo Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Cusumano has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Brilliant ruby garnet with flinty core. On the nose sealing wax mingles with earthy notes, wet stone and ripe cranberries. There's some smoke in the background. The palate repeats the stony, dark and spiced feel, with restrained fruit but a pleasant saltiness in the medium-long finish. The overall impression is one of restraint.
