The white wine Chablis AOC "Champ des Ducs""", vintage 2015 from the winery Domaine Alain Geoffroy has been rated in 2017 by Axel Biesler und Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region chablis in France.
Its sulphur spiciness could be hiding something like minerality, its terroir. This is difficult to judge even after some time in the glass. Fortunately, the wine has flavor, and a pretty good, spicy and yes: mineral flavor. We take a deep breath and pour more.
