The red wine Pinot Noir Oberpfoeller, vintage 2021 from the winery Domaine Boeckel has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alsace in France.
A touch of reduction still plays on the nose but allows glimpses of toasty oak and smoky red cherry. The body is taut and fresh with fruit that does not quite fill the palate but nonetheless presents lovely red-fruited purity. A fine web of tannins supports with structure.
