Tasting Notes
Deep crimson garnet, violet reflections, broad ochre rim. A peacock's wheel of aromas flows from the glass: fine floral nuances of roses and violets mingle magically with spicy elements such as cinnamon and cloves on a carpet of wild berry confit and preserved cherries. Full-bodied on the palate, extracted sweetness and silky yet present tannins, perfectly balanced acidity, fine fruity nuances, yet taut and complex, mineral and salty on the finish, lingers for minutes. Great potential for the future. One of those wines for which the 100-point scale is not really enough to do justice to the pleasure experience. (No. 4199, PM, store, drink +40)
