Straw colour with pale golden reflections. On the nose, apple, notes of iodine and barrel use with a delicate floral hint. On the palate it is concentrated, full bodied, hearty and rich with a slight viscosity in the background, vinous in character with chalky notes on the smooth finish. An intensely textured, mineral food companion. A big and powerful wine, yet paradoxically very sophisticated.
