Tasting from 28.05.2015: Martin Kilchmann, Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter

Medium yellow-green, silver reflections. Delicate flinty touch, smoky minerality, white flower nuances, hints of ripe gooseberries, red berry nuances of currant, soft notes of blossom honey, fresh meadow herbs in the background. Full-bodied, elegant, pronounced stone fruit tannins, finesse-rich acidity, harmonious and persistent, definite ageing potential.

More about the tasting

Yeasty nose, rubber, herbs, dried lemon peel, very closed at the beginning. The palate is expansive, viscous layers conceal the intense materiality, dynamic acidity and minerality create a powerful counterbalance to the rich body, a hint of floral finish aromas lead into the finish alongside the dominant yeast tones. Extremely young and rich in extract. After two days, peach and nectarine, with a delicately breezy overtone. Rich, viscous, but also with a dynamic core.
