Tasting Notes
First nougat, toasted sesame and hazelnut, then herbal spice and menthol. The palate is juicy and nervous, almost edgy, a touch of green, the tension is enhanced by minerality, an enthralling structure, with its shirt-sleeved rusticity it is not a wine for power drinkers, but it's not coarse either. And especially not at the end of its life.
More about the tastingCrozes-Hermitage without added sulfur. Cherry jelly and mineral notes, air contact also a bit balsamic, delicate palate with great inner strength and tension, mineral primed, lots of juice and elegance, medium length, seems almost narrow and biting, but has enormous dynamism and a very vivid acidity for the vintage. Long finish with notes of eucalyptus to mint. Subtle!
