The white wine Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers, vintage 2019 from the winery Domaine Marc Morey Fils has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Subtle oak savouriness, notes of roasted almond, hazelnut and brioche, but there is also a slight floral note. On the palate, the wine integrates its fine phenolics impression into a robust structure, suppleness and acidity play around each other, behind the extract a fine juiciness and a mineral tint that is not over emphasised give elegance. Very finely tuned, very skilfully made, with very good gastronomic suitability.
