Tasting Notes

Tasting from 14.10.2011

Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Intense oak notes on the nose, underlaid with strong black fruit, elderberries, orange zest. Lots of wood, but has a juicy dark fruit in the background, present tannins, cloves in the aftertaste, should still mature in the bottle, chocolaty aftertaste, in any case it would not have needed so much new wood.
