The red wine Régnié "Les Braves", vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine Raphael Chopin has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser & Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gamay from the region Beaujolais in France.
Ripe black cherry on the nose, with undertones of dark chocolate, cinnamon and lemon thyme. The palate opens with texture and some viscosity before a fine-grained, extremely densely packed tannin fills the mid-palate. The acidity remains restrained, with the phenolic structure dominating the considerable alcohol.
