In einer Region, in der der Chasselas vorherrscht, wollten wir mit dieser beliebten Rebsorte als Grundlage etwas schaffen, das die Gewohnheiten von Kennern aufrüttelt und Uneingeweihte fasziniert. Eine Kombination aus Weiß und Rot hat uns am meisten angesprochen. Nicht gerade ein Rosé, irgendwo zwischen Weiß und Rot, "BLOUGE" ein Wortspiel von blanc=weiss und rouge=rot! Sogenannte „Blouge“-Weine gibt es in Frankreich bereits seit mehreren Jahren, vor allem in der Bordeaux-Region. Dies hat uns ganz klar inspiriert. Das Konzept der Chimäre kam uns schnell in den Sinn. Dieses Fabel-Mischwesen und Kuriosität der Natur passen perfekt zu unserer Idee. Die zweite Definition, die des unrealistischen Traums, spricht uns genauso an. In der Schweiz stoßen diese Neuschöpfungen hinsichtlich ihres Namens auf erhebliche rechtliche Hürden. Ein solches Produkt kann nicht den Titel „Wein“ beanspruchen. Daher dürfen auf der Etikette keine diesbezüglichen Angaben (z. B. Jahrgang, Rebsorten, lokaler Wein, AOC, Produktionsort und andere in den Vorschriften für Waadtländer Weine enthaltene Informationen) enthalten sein. Der Begriff „Getränk auf Weinbasis“ ist daher die letzte verbleibende Möglichkeit.

Bright strawberry red. On the nose, notes of red berries, grapefruit, and a hint of strawberry jam. Soft and relatively full-bodied on the palate, with a sweet, berry-like finish.
