The white wine Oudan De Butte en Blanc Urfé blanc IGP, vintage 2016 from the winery Domaine Sérol has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Viognier from the region Cote-Roannaise in France.
Restrained aroma, and then the varietal spiciness comes with power on the palate. At the same time the wine is slender (only 12% by volume), it is structurally and excitingly fresh, with much minerality. A very individual viognier style without overripe kirsch, ideal as a thirst-quenching aperitif or as a pairing for grilled fish.
