The white wine Beyond The Clouds DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Elena Walch has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Marsanne from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling straw yellow with light green nuances. Intense, yet finely drawn nose with notes of ripe mango, some pear and thyme in the background. Creamy and smooth on the palate, but also shows taut acidity, lends freshness and tension, with plenty of fruit on the finish.
