The franciacorta Franciacorta Rosé DOCG Brut from the winery Elisabetta Abrami has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay from the region Franciacorta in Italy.
Light salmon pink with a persistent mousse. Initially somewhat closed on the nose, hesitant yeasty notes, then opens delicately with forest fruits, orange peel, cinchona bark and pink rose petal. Hearty on the palate, with a grippy core, delicate tannins, then slightly torn apart and lightly persistent on the finish.
