The sweet and dessert wine Vinsanto 20 years barrel aged PDO Santorini, vintage 1994 from the winery Estate Argyros has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Assyrtiko from the region PDO Santorini in Greece.
Tasting Notes
Dark amber with gold reflections and an ochre rim. Sweet fig notes, candied orange zest, pleasant oak savouriness, chocolatey touch, notes of cocoa and raisins. Sweet but fresh on the palate, harmonious texture, fine nougat, mineral, furnished with a pleasant dried fruit finish, wonderfully light on its feet.
