The red wine Saffredi IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2012 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby violet. Lush and memorable nose, shows lots of spicy notes, cedar wood, then some violets, cassis and blackberries. Taut in the attack and on the palate, builds well, lots of present fruit, precise, somewhat brittle tannins on the finish, lots of tobacco.
