Deep dark ruby red. Fragrant nose with spicy notes of chocolate, cassis and blackberries, very multi-layered and complex. Fresh, albeit full-bodied wine with a long finish, strong pressure on the palate with enveloping notes of dark currants and some pepper, very fine tannins.
