The red wine Cannubi S. Lorenzo Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Giuseppe Rinaldi has been rated in 2012 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby garnet colour. Very clear and memorable nose of ripe, wild raspberries, with savoury nuances in the background, also a hint of leather. Full-bodied and dense on the palate, lots of ripe, rich fruit, unfolds with a lot of sweet texture, then opens up with dense but fine tannins, broad and multilayered, very long.
