The red wine Cannubi S. Lorenzo Barolo DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Giuseppe Rinaldi has been rated in 2013 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant rich ruby colour. Very dense and appealing nose, initially shows fine spicy notes of white pepper and ginger, notes of pomegranate, ripe plum and cranberry, it is very vivid. Convincing on the palate with lots of fine grained densely woven tannins, sweet core, builds up in many layers, lots of vivid fruit, and with a long finish.
