The white wine Meridiano 12 Zibibbo Sicilia DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Tenuta Gorghi Tondi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zibibbo from the region Sicily in Italy.
Delicately shimmering straw yellow with a touch of silver. A finely fragrant bouquet, almost perfumed, with notes of fresh elderflowers, lavender and ripe vine peach. Lush, juicy and also intensely floral on the palate, white rose petals, slightly salty with a lot of fruit on the long finish. A very inviting and approachable style.
