The red wine Rote Reserve, vintage 2021 from the winery Hardegg has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Blauer Zweigelt from the region Lower Austria in Austria.
Intense garnet, ochre reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a subtle wood savouriness, nuances of blackberry and cherry, underlaid with orange zest. Juicy, sweet cherries, well-integrated tannins, mineral-salty notes and fine fruit expression on the finish. Already approachable, a fine, savoury food wine.
