This has delicately fragrant yeasty notes, as well as aromas of citrus confit, fresh garden herbs, slightly nutty notes, and some crème caramel. There is a creamy softness on the palate, with a fine mousse and a delicate acidity, and it is very complex, with very good length and a sophisticated salinity. It displays wonderful freshness despite its age, and it is a versatile wine.
