The sweet and dessert wine Sämling 88 Beerenauslese, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Tschida – Angerhof has been rated in 2013 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Light golden yellow colour. Sweet yellow tropical fruit with fresh lemon and mandarin zest in the background, a hint of passion fruit, a hint of white flowers. Textured, delicate lychee, tightly woven, white fruit notes, fine sweetness, crisp acidity structure, lime on the finish, lingers well, preserved peaches on the finish.
