Tasting Notes
One of the finest Cyril Henschkes to date. It starts with a heady perfume of florals, blackberries and spiced cherries with hints of mint chocolate, menthol and dried herbs. It’s compelling and seductive with beautiful tannins all supple and shapely. It is fuller-bodied but not big as there’s a fineness throughout with the oak well-integrated (aged in French hogsheads, 35% new for 18 months). A classy Cabernet. Drink 2021-2040+. J.F.
