The white wine Pinot Gris Alsace AOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Hugel & Fils has been rated in 2018 by Benjamin Herzog with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Alsace in France.
The soft Alsatian Pinot Gris perfectly complements the warm, rich cheese fondue. The nose reveals aromas of citrus fruit, ripe apple and spring flowers. On the palate, the wine is extremely smooth and round. Long-lasting finish with ripe, sweet fruit flavours.
