Rich, impenetrable ruby; intense aromas of dark lilac, some smoke, leather and licorice on the nose, followed by blackberry; salty and full on the palate, lots of grippy tannins with a ripe core, dark berry fruit notes, lots of pressure on the finish, lingers for a long time.
