The red wine Syrah Collezione Privata IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Isole e Olena has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep ruby colour with fine purple glints. Penetrating nose, showing lots of ripe fruit, of elderberries and mulberries, then pronounced spicy components, black pepper, bay leaves and Mediterranean scrub. Juicy and dense on the palate, lots of ripe, plump fruit, blueberries. Opens with grippy, finely meshed tannins, spreads across the palate with fine texture. Long finish.
