The red wine Cepparello Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Isole e Olena has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby of medium density. Finely drawn nose, with notes of raspberry and dark cherries, plus some eucalyptus. Juicy from the beginning to the end, shows plump cherry fruit, some blackberry, vivid tannin in many fine layers, pomegranate on the finish.
