The sweet and dessert wine Pasithea Oro Gewürztraminer vendemmia tardiva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Kellerei Girlan has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intense bright orange with amber highlights. Very fragrant on the nose with fresh chestnut honey and caramel candy brightened up by floral edge and candied citrus tang. On the palate there's a racy acidity making for a very lively accent on the apricot fruit. Light tannin in the back, it's energetic thanks to the acidity which prevails in the finish.
