Intense, brilliant ruby red. An open, approachable nose with aromas of ripe blackberries and cassis, underpinned by notes of cardamom. On the palate, the tannins are full-bodied, hearty, and gripping, revealing plenty of ripe fruit; the finish is round and supple, with a long, lingering aftertaste and a lovely smoothness.
