The sekt Gaudeamus Vin Mousseux Brut NV from the winery Kloster Fahr Weinbau has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Müller-Thurgau, Zweigelt from the region Limmat Valley in Switzerland.
Pale straw yellow. Quite intense on the nose with nutmeg aromas, some strawberry, white flowers and ripe citrus notes. Beautifully textured on the palate with a fine mousse, harmonising acidity and lovely length with a salty impression. Ends rather abruptly.
