The white wine Südtirol Eisacktaler Sylvaner Praepositus DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Kloster Neustift has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Pale straw yellow with a slightly brightening rim. Concentrated pear juice on the nose, also somewhat spicy. Dancing acidity on the palate with a fine tang, not intrusive, well balanced overall with a lovely freshness.
