Rich, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Clear and intense nose, full of ripe elderberries, plums and some purple fruit, with cardamom in the background. Smooth and full on the palate, showing lots of fruit, especially dark cherry, blackberry and elderberry, then opens up with dense, supple tannins at the core, firm drive.
