The white wine San Cristoforo Gavi DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery La Doria has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cortese from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, radiant straw yellow with green. Delicate aromas of white flowers, lime, chamomile, vineyard peach and a hint of lemon zest. Lush and juicy, then fine meadow herbs and rich green apple on the palate, showing a fine saltiness, animatingly light-footed on the palate, but finishes abruptly on almond bitterness.
