The sekt ZEROassoluto Vino Spumante Bianco Extra Brut from the winery La Jara has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Piquepoul blanc from the region Veneto in Italy.
This has a shimmering light silver colour. On the nose there are aromas of quince and ripe banana, a hint of peach, and light flint, it is a complex bouquet. It is very well balanced on the palate, with a restrained mousse, lovely fruit, a slight saltiness, and it shows good length and a fine interplay.
