The red wine Magdalena, vintage 2020 from the winery La Madeleine – André Fontannaz et filles has been rated in 2022 by Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Valais in Switzerland.
Fruity, savoury bouquet with notes of dried plum, cherry and raspberry as well as a hint of cassis. There are also toasty nuances such as dark baked bread and coffee. Soft on the palate, with concentrated dark berry fruit, cherry and savoury notes. Tight, easily perceptible tannins and a long finish.
