The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery La Sala del Torriano has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
A rich, bright ruby red colour with a subtle bright rim. It has a fragrant and inviting nose of lush cherry, sugared strawberry, light spicy notes, as well as thyme and light mint. It is elegant on the palate with juicy tannins and a well-integrated acidity, spreading nicely with a medium drive across the tongue, and it finishes with good length and a nice balance.
